I have been licensed since 1957 and have been active every single year after that. I have been holding licenses in India VU2CTO, in Tanzania 5H3MT up to end 1973, 7Q7PF still active occasionally, VU2CTO for near 7 years, Sudan 2 years, Romania, Israel West Bank 3 years etc.

I am now operating as 5Z4/LA9PF

QSL cards must be sent direct to POB 5642 Malindi, 80200 Malindi, Kenya or through eQsl.cc or through the 5Z4 bureau.

I am not collecting QSL cards anymore but are replying to QSL cards received. But with the prices today, 2 greenbacks are necessary to cover the cost of printing and mailing.

My equipment here in 5Z4: IC7200 PA 300 Wt, with either a 3 el beam at 9 meters or vertical loop, or horizontal 70 m no-resonant loop.

I operate usually SSB or any digital mode and the occasional CW QSO
