Chad is operating from the contest superstation 6Y1V / 6Y1LZ which is in Hopewell, Jamaica, a short distance from Montego Bay.

The station consists of Icom IC-7800 transceivers and Acom 2000A amplifiers. Antennas are a pair of SteppIR MonstIR yagis and 70' and 130' which is a 4/4 array on 10/12/15/17/20M and a 3/3 array on 30/40M.  A second 105' rotating tower supports 6 M2 Inc. long boom monoband yagis.  On 20M, there's a 6/6 on 59' booms at 50/100'.  On 15M, it's a 6/6 on 44' booms at 32/65'.  And on 10M, there's a 7/7 array on 44' booms at 28/55'.  On 80M there's a full size 4 square vertical array, and some wires on 160M.
