Spent most of my working life in Hi-Tech R&D in Switzerland, involving Microwaves, Medical Electronics, Semiconductors, Traffic Control, Magnetic Storage, Fiber Optics, Data Comms, Computers, Business Software, E-Commerce. Retired in 2002 and moved to Malta, so finally had time to get a Ham licence and take up this hobby. Interested in antennas, digital modulation and SDR. Joined the Malta Amateur Radio League (9H1MRL), currently managing the 9H QSL bureau. My wife Marilyn is a sculptor and our four children seem to be globe-trotters - all are in various technical aspects of the "entertainment" business. If you are wanting to work a 9H, I am usually on 30 meters digital, but do stray occasionally to other bands and modes. Last modified: 2012-01-28 00:47:41, 978 bytes cached
