Licensed in Feb 2008 as AB3GZ I finally decided to go ahead with the Vanity call which coincidentally is easier to say as well.

The shack consists of 2 Elecraft K3s and an FT-901DM for HF; a Yaesu FT-7800 for 2M/70CM; various test equipment, and a couple of manual HF tuners just for good measure.

The HF Antennas include an Inverted Vee with 20M and 40M elements sharing a common feed at about 40 feet and a 135' OCF dipole at about 50'. Both are oriented more or less N/S.

I have a Diamond vertical at 25' for 2M/70cm. I'm still working on antennas for other bands, so the antenna farm is, predictably, a work in progress. For portable use, I have 40M and 20M hamsticks and a 12' whip that is usable for 17/15/10/6M and a homebrew tripod mount made from an old camera tripod.

I enjoy working 40/20/17/15M and am working hard to get up to speed in CW so I can enjoy that as well. Look forward to meeting you on the bands.
