Born in Portland, OR. Graduated 1958 Roosevelt High School, Seattle, WA. Attended Whitworth College, Spokane, WA then USAF Undergraduate Navigator Training, Harlingen AFB, TX. Served as KC-135 Navigator in SAC, stationed at McChord AFB, WA and Barksdale AFB, TX.   Then Reserve on C-124 at McChord AFB. 

Employment History:  Studio tech, Radio KTW;  USAF;  Electronics Tech, Eldeco;  Chief Navigator, Alaska Airlines; Telcom Mgr, UofWash;  Telcom Engr, Boeing;  Technology Designer, Sparling, Inc.;  Self-employed Radio & Telephony Consultant. 

First licensed as WN7WLK in 1954, then W7WLK, then AA7L. Active as time permits in local emergency service organizations and in Mercury NW, a radio club supporting the Welfare Program of the LDS Church.
