Primary radio interest areas are:

- HF operation: DX, portable HF, QRP, SWL(HQ-180C, HQ-200, ICF-2010, ATS-909)

- Modes: SSB/CW/DIGITAL (BPSK, MFSK, CONTESSIA, .etc.)

- Groups: ARRL, AF MARS (AFA4OY), SHARES, SATERN, HF Pack, ARLHS, FISTS, SKCC

- Nets: Maritime Mobile Service Net (NCS), AF MARS (NCS), SATERN

- Rigs: Primary rigs are Elecraft K3, Elecraft K2, and FT-100

- Boatanchors: Radio restoration & resurrecting old tube radios.

- Currently collecting Hammarlund's and Zenith Trans-Oceaniac's, and restoring a mint-condition Henry 4K Ultra amplifier.

Extensive experience (full-time job) in DSP development, modem development, and Software Radio development/architecture. However, because I do them for a living, I don't typically get involved in these areas in my free time ;-)
