I am Edgardo G. Tumang , my QTH is San Jose Malino Mexico Pampanga Philippines (DU Land) and I have been a licensed HAM operator since 1993 ,my wife Lulu also a HAM operator her callsign is DW3ASZ .Our daughter’s name is Angelique.

We are members of PARA-Philippine Amateur Radio Association (www.para.org.ph),CLARC-Central Luzon Amateur Radio Club (www.qrz.com/dx3f) and formerly member ofNARA-Northern Amateur Radio Association (DX2N)www.dx2n.org & PARL-Philippine Amateur Radio League.

My radio set-up are hf transceiver Kenwood TS-480SAT multi band with dipole for 40 m and vhf/uhf X-300 (diamond) dual bander omni and twin yagi (2m.) antenna (home brewed) 5 elements, 16 m above the ground for my VHF/UHF.

Packet radio (1998) also I experienced to used it , by using old PC ,baycom interface and software I can send and received messages from Germany , Papua New Ginnea and the rest of the world.My packet address is du3sjm@du3bby.cluz.ph.oc., DU3BBY is our BBS then.

As an Overseas Filipino worker we are always out of the country so we missed our radio hobby.

But today thanks to internet (www.echolink.org) our PC turn into instant transceiver now we can call our fellow hams while on their car driving or just walking holding portable radio in the Philippines ,USA ,Canada ,Hawaii ,India ,Alaska ,Brunei ,Guam island basically anywhere in the world.
