How to maximize your score in WPX contest

1) Call big and dx stations on all bands: qso it’s easy and easily reachable on all bands and very quick. Of course for the prefix multiplier you’ll need just one band, but the qso number will increase.

2) Ask to Multi Multi stations the frequencies on other bands, the dx station will reply immediately.

3) Low bands are double points, so call dx stations especially on 40/80/160 m. , also during daytime .we never now !

4) Call with full callsign , not part of it, just once or twice.

5) Do not call again if you are not picked up immediately from the dx station, he will give the correct timing for calls.

6) Call with standard ham phonetics (not only Icao) but not strange or unusual alphabets.

7) Of course, listen very carefully what callsign the dx operator did get and repeat it correct only of it is wrong . If it is correct there is no reason to repeat it during the report sending, otherwise you the dx station will have a doubt on your callsign. That will speed up your and others qso’s
