FL50B Hi, thanks for looking me up. I operate on cw, rtty, psk and now trying out other digi modes. My station consists of : Tranceivers:IC-706 and FT-2000 Antenna 1: MA5B mini beam. 2 metres above the roof. Antenna 2: HF9V vertical, ground mounted. Antenna 3: Magnetic loop (G0CWT) PC: Dell Zino HD / Windows 7 S/W: MixW (Reg) and now trying out HRD and a reg version of VQlog. Interfaces : SB-2000 and Signalink USB. I have DXCC for cw and which I received using 20 watts and a dipole . My rig then were yaesu twins: FR50B and FL50B both still in service today. These are 40 years old. I now have received RTTY DXCC. My other hobby is sailing. I have an Etap-22 (1982) which I bought in 2003. My licence was issued in Dec 1977. Am now retired from military service after almost 33 years. I worked as a radio technician in the Signal corps and operated in two military clubs>EI5V and EI2V. I enjoy collecting QSL's so I will qsl 100% via Lotw (SP), E-qsl, direct or buro (LP)!!!. Some folks have said why collect qsl's when you have LOTW?, well I say Its like been to another country by plane, you have the ticket to fly (DXCC)but you dont have any photos to show you have been there!! I am now using JT65 and really like this new mode. It's a wonderfull qrp mode and amazing what you can do with low power. I started on 6th December 2010 and got to complete my WAS with North Dakota being the last state 18th July 2011. The mid West states are the hardest to work I found, NV, NM,UT and ND. Note: I do not sell anything via the Net, so be carefull as there are so many scams!
