GB1HPG - GB 1 HUNDRED PORTLAND GIBRALTAR - SPECIAL EVENT STATION commemorates the wireless contact between Portland Bill and Gibraltar in March 1907.

GB1HPG will be active from 1000hrs - 1630hrs UTC on both days from the Gatehouse at Southwell Business Park http://www.geoffkirby.co.uk/Portland/680700 This complex is an ex Ministry of Defence establishment and only a short distance from the location of the 1907 Marconi-equipped Station.

ANTENNAS: Dipole on 80, a Sloper on 40 and a beam on 20, 15 and 10.

Target Frequencies: 3.740 MHz LSB 7.025 MHz CW / 7.065 MHz LSB 14.025 MHz CW / 14.205 MHz USB +-QRM.
