GB200CLB was operated over the weekend 29th October to 1st November, 2004, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Lifeboats in Cromer, Norfolk. The station was set up in the crew room at the seaward end of Cromer pier, and comprised TS-2000, TS-570DG, TM-V7E stations, SUPPLIED ON LOAN FROM KENWOOD-UK AS SPONSORS, and TR-9000 and TR-9500 from myself, operating all modes, including CW, SSB, FM, AM, PSK-31, SSTV, and FSTV. There was a 23cms colour television link from the crew room to the town centre that enabled visitors to the town centre to see what was happening. A special QSL card similar to the one shown above will be available via the bureau on receipt of a request. QSL manager is ''M6KAH'', and cards can be sent direct or via bureau.
