I have been radioamateur since 1979, when I bacame member of the Csepel Amateur Radio Klub( HA5KND – HA5KHG – HA5KKG – HG19HB).

I got my own callsign at 1st. of june in 1984.

I work from my actual QTH since 1994

At that time, my rig was an FT-757-GX II. and a 2 home made amplifier (by HA3NX), and ( by HA5HS ) with 700-800 W output, but 5Band all , and 3 element tribander to 20-15-10 m at 15m high and Inv Vee to 80-40 m.

In 2001 I developed my station. I put up a new 19 meters high Buda-Duga tower and I put a TH7DX for 20-15-10 m bands on 15 meters high, and a 6 element (3el on 17m, 3el on 12 m) Dunax WARC yagi on 19 meters high. New antennas for 160m: ECO Inverted Vee with trap, for 80m: Two Inverted Vees, for 40m: Delta Loop, and Inverted Vee, for 30m: rotating dipole. Unfortunately there is no more place at my QTH.

My new rig is a Yaesu FT-920 and an ICOM IC-765. I use the ICOM nowadays, because it has better receiver. My new amplifier is an HF-100/1000 by Amplitec with GU43B tube, and 1KW output.

After the 2011 april I am work my great dream IC-781 , so I am very happy !

I use the e-QSL and the LOTW system. If you need Hungary for any awards it is the best and fastest way I think. If you would like to send me direct QSL request please send a SAE ( Self Adressed Envelope) and sufficient money for return postage. The fee of a letter to foreign countries more than 1 USD, so please enclose 2 USD, or 1 IRC. Cards will be sent Via Bureau if insufficient money is sent.

I enjoyed the DX-ing more, with my new setup , but I have strong local noise and QRN usually , because I am living in crowded urban area !
