Die Relaisstation HB9BB liegt auf 1420m NN auf dem Buchserberg auf der Alp Malbun und ist im nördlichen Teil des Alpgebäudes untergebracht. Eigentümer der Alp Malbun ist die Ortsgemeinde Buchs. Betrieben und unterhalten wird diese Station von der Relaisgruppe Buchserberg HB9BB mit Sitz in Buchs/SG.
