HE3RSI is a very special callsign granted by the Swiss Federal Office of Communication. It can be used only between 1st of november 2004 and 5th of december 2004. The Radioamateur Club of the state "Vaud" in Switzerland has been authorized to use a SW-Broadcast antenna. It's the old SW-antenna of "Swiss Radio International", who has stopped his broadcasting on October 31, 2004. A monster with his height of 62.5m and his weight of 135t. The official range of frenquecies goes from 9.5 to 21.7 MHz. The gain is between 18 and 20 dBi. We can use it from 7MHz to 30 MHZ without problems ;-) This antenna will be destroyed after 2004.12.05 :-(( The callsign has two specialities: HE3 has never been used before and RSI means "Radio Suisse Internationale", like "Swiss Radio International" in english.
