(upper right pic) A last minute photo prior to leaving for Minot AFB, N.D. After attending Tech school at Chanute AFB, Rantuol Ill, as a Aircraft Electrical Repairman 42350. My Air Force assignments were; 5 FIS (Fighter Intercep Sq) on F-106A and B models at Minot AFB No Dak, 315 CAMS on C123K's at Phan Rang AB Viet Nam. Was TDY on F-100's at Cannon AFB, New Mexico,Then F-106's at Tyndall AFB, Fla. I worked 30 years for the Mcleod Co Sheriff Dept, Glencoe, Mn, retired as Sgt., Supervsior of Patrol and SWAT Divisions. Also incharge of communication equipment in squad cars, Also Incharge of Alcohol testing equipment. And the Dept's Accident Reconstructionist. The picture is me and my last Crown Vic class A unmarked Sq, parked in the LEC parking lot. Taken prior to last shifti in 2001. The station in this photo consists of a Globe Champ 300-A transmitter, Navy RBM-4 Receiver with home brew power supply, Vibro-plex bug, a Hygain 14AVQ vertical on the apartment building roof. I operated on 40, 20,15 meters CW, RTTY, AM. On the left side of the photo (not shown) was a complete black metal table with a Model 19 RTTY equipment. My first station was a Globe Scout 680A transmitter with six crytals, HQ 110 receiver, which got me on 80,40,15 mtrs with dipoles. I am recovering from a stroke .I love CW. My speed is slow.I appreciate your being patient withme. Thank you very much. My speech is good but effects are present from the stroke. Now operate FT-450AT, FT-950, Drake T4XB R4B,.
