I am glad you are looking me up. Maybe we made contact on hf, or you are curious who I am. My name is Ken Muggli and I live in Glen Ullin, North Dakota. I live in a very small city, nearest traffic stop light is over 50 miles away, only five kids in the first grade. Glen Ullin is in western North Dakota on the edge of the North Dakota badlands. http://www.destination360.com/north-america/us/north-dakota/badlands No Electronic QSL's PSE. North Dakota has four seasons; thunder, cold, snow and flood, the antenna installation and repair season is very short. North Dakota is not the end of the earth, but - we can see it from here. No Electronic QSL's PSE. I have been a ham since 1985. My interest in radio started when I was 10 years old with my first crystal radio set. I still remember the thrill of hearing voices coming out of the ether into my little ear bud. AH! the magic of radio,I have been hooked ever since. I went through the CB and SWL phase on my way to becoming a ham. I am very proud to be a ham. No Electronic QSL's PSE. My station consists of an Icom 7000, Ameritron ALS-600, a telegraph key (N3ZN), a desk, a LogiKey-5 keyer by Idiom Press, a 3KW generator, and two antennas. I have a screwdriver antenna mfg. by Scorpion mounted on the drivers side in the bed of my pickup. My other antenna is a collapisable 1/4 wave 40m verticle mounted on a tripod in the bed of my pickup fed with an Icom AH-4 autotuner. No Electronic QSL's PSE. I am active in recruting new people into ham radio, especially youngsters. I have produced a slide show that is available to all. My recruting slide show can be down loaded at: http://www.qcwa.org/recruiting.htm I also do SOTA (Summits on the air): http://sota.org.uk/ I have a great pedestrian mobile rig and operate QRP/Ped Mobile SSB es CW.
I operate about 95% on CW, you will find me mostly on the Fists frequencies 14,058. I enjoy rag chewing and ham related social events. I like to operate from a nearby hilltop along the Custer Trail, antelope grazing around me, cows, golden eagles and hawks in the sky, fresh air, AH! Heaven on earth. Sometimes I operate from our little airport; an airport without - arrivals, departures, or airplanes. Think - REAL SMALL and very rural. I am retired from the corporate world and now work as a clockmaker to occupy my time. If you are a county hunter and need western ND and eastern MT counties, try me, I might be able to help you on CW or SSB. QSL: CONUS direct, please include a SASE # 10 envelope, my QSL card will not fit in a small envelope. DX via bureau. No electronic QSL's PSE. 73, K0HL Ken
