My main interest is portable ops and Qrp

Rigs here are: Kenwood TS520 and 570D, OHR 100A's, Wilderness radio SST's, various HF receivers, many that are homebrew.

Vhf rigs both mobile and portable are all Yaesu:FT1802, FT2800, FT270R ht.

Antennas are: 80m off center fed at 30 feet, Super Station Master 2m, 10 and 20m dipoles in the attic.

Portable antennas: Too many to list, but mostly use inverted Vee's and a 90 foot random wire fed against ground.

Favorite mode: CW by far! but do some phone. No digital modes, old school here! only antenna to antenna.

Keys: J-38, J-47 and a Vibroplex Deluxe Original Bug,  I also love the art of side swiping, and like using my homebrew side swiper [cootie key]. Though I'm not real good with it yet, I'm improving with lots of practice.

Other interests : Hiking, Bycycling, Kayaking, Camping, Fishing, Mountain topping and traditional archery.

I also love kit building and homebrewing.
