In addition to amateur radio I also enjoy the scanning hobby and am proud to provide the ever popular streaming feed of the LAPD 24/7 365 over on radio reference.

The feed comes to you via either my Uniden BCD 996XT along with a diamond wideband discone mounted high above my rooftop which has solid coverage of not only the entire San Fernando valley but also most of the entire Los Angeles metropolitan area.

Back to ham radio. I mostly operate VHF/UHF (if you're not in Los Angeles come pay me a visit on the IRLP node 7666 and Echolink Node 72666). I use my Icom 2820 & Alinco DR235T into a Diamond X3200 in the shack and when mobile I use another 2820 with a Comet SSB2(or CA 2x4SR when appropriate). Lastly I use my Icom 92AD & Icom ID31s( I'm the Yahoo Group's moderator), for handheld operations.
