K2BSA is the call sign for Boy Scout Jamboree operations and many other special events around Scouting and amateur radio. One of the biggest events is the annual Jamboree-on-the-Air which this year is October 20-21, 2012. This is the largest Scouting event in the world, with over 700,000 Scouts participating across nearly 6,000 amateur radio stations.
