**I need to get new QSL cards printed, so no paper QSL's for now. If you want to send one anyway, I certainly wouldn't mind. In the interim, I am using eQSL and LOTW.** Hello and thanks for looking me up on QRZ. I used to live on Roosevelt Island in NYC, but just recently moved to Shohola, PA. My simple station setup consists of an Elecraft K3, Heathkit SB-220,and a Tarheel 100A in the back yard. I work for the United Nations. I'm a documents control officer, and my job is to ensure thetimely translation and dissemination of information to member states. I essentially monitor the entire downstream documentation process at UNHQ. I work extensively with the General Assembly, the UN Security Council, and many committees. I also travel quite a bit for work and have served as mission lead for several large conferences. I am also the current president of the United Nations Amateur Radio Club / 4U1UN. Some of my favorite ham radio activities include rag chewing, contests, and operating digital modes like PSK31 or RTTY. My other hobbies include photography, auto racing, flying RC helicopters, travelling, astronomy, and target shooting. If you like photography, please check out my gallery at:http://www.jamespaulsarte.com I currently shoot with a Canon 5D. My first love is film though, and still have an Arax 88 CM MLU. I used to own a Mamiya RZ67 Pro IID, but sold it when the 5D became available. As for astronomy, I have an 8" Meade LX200ACF. I try to get out to dark sites whenever I have time. If you're a gun person, drop me a line and meet me at SGL183 during weekends for some target practice! I used to participate in BMW CCA HPDE's with a track-tweaked 2005 E46 M3. It was eventually replaced with a 2006 Evo IX MR. After my second daughter was born, I sold that and now drive a Ford Expedition. One of these days, I'd like to get back into road course racing and time trials. The Ford GT500 is on my wish list. Finally, I'm happily married and have two wonderful daughters. I love being a dad! I hope my girls will grow to enjoy amateur radio just as much as I do. I'm still trying to convince my wife to get her ticket, but that's going to take a little more time. Well, thanks for stopping by. I hope to see you on the bands one day. So, 73 and good DX!
