Hello fellow hams. We are the Americus Amateur Radio Association, based in Americus, Georgia. We're a small but growing group that likes to think of ourselves as among the friendliest hams in the area. Hence the call "Kilo Four Friendly Amateur Radio". We currently have 3 repeaters in southwest and west central Georgia located in Americus, Montezuma, and Vienna, Georgia. The Montezuma repeater is the southernmost part of the Peach State Intertie, a system of several linked repeaters through middle Georgia. Our meetings are the fourth Thursday evening of every month, and we would be happy to have you attend. The local machines are almost always monitored; no visiting call goes unanswered. Program your radio before you leave home.,visit our website at k4far.org. Some of us also monitor HF at 3975 afternoons, and 3995 mornings. Last modified: 2012-01-07 12:57:11, 1047 bytes fetched
