I've been licensed since 1964, first as WA5KQN in New Orleans, Louisiana, and later as WA3ZOS, WA4ZOD, W4EIS, and N4CY for over 20 years and now K4GM since 2003. I left "5 land" in 1974 to take a job as an FCC Trial Attorney. Since 1979 I've engaged in the private practice of law in Stafford, Virginia, located 45 miles south of Washington, D.C. My other avocation is the breeding and showing of quality Labrador retrievers. Radio activities are mobiling, contesting and internet remote bases. Although I have modern gear, I can't seem to stay away from my Drake C Line for very long. I've always enjoyed high speed cw but recently bought a decent straight key and have been enjoying slow speed cw with the SKCC. If you contest much you have either worked me or will soon. When not contesting from home I am often at NR4M. Member of Rappahannock Valley Amateur radio Club.
