Operated KM6CE (Primarily) and KM6BI. Other stations active on Midway at the time were KM6CB and KM6CG as well as some portable /KM6 stations on the "Big" Island (Sand). If you have a QSL card from KM6CE with a Gooney Bird on the front, check the operator signature and call sign. Might be me! Left Midway Islands for Japan in late 1962 and operated "Auxilliary" club stations KA2KS and KA7DM. Left Japan in 1965 for home and moved to Florida where I was issued the call WB4HML. Moved to Texas in 1980 and I was issued the call WV5Z. Moved back to Florida in 1992 and changed my call to K4PG when the vanity program opened for business. My son became interested in amateur radio in Texas and became N5KRX, and he just recently changed his callsign to K4JSB. I just got on six meters and I am enjoying it. Current home station: IC-746PRO, AL811H, and BWD-90 Folded Dipole for 40 and 80 meters at 40 feet. An A4S for HF at 42 feet, an IC-7000 for mobile and RTTY. IC 735 serves as back-up. Look for me, especially weekends.
