I was first licensed in 1970 as WN5CKQ and then WB5CKQ. In 1977, while finishing an engineering degree at Oklahoma State University, I obtained my present call. I have always remained active on CW and was 100% QRP from 1986 until 2009. The antenna for all bands is a 40 meter horizontal loop which isfed with window line. I configure it as a inverted L for use on 80 and 160 meters. The current equipment line up is IC-718 (new in '09), HW-9 (25 years of use), SW-20+ (somewhere in between). The operating position in the photo is a work in progress. Other hobbys includehome winemaking, gardening, and hiking. I enjoy listening to classical and folk music. I play the tin whistle on occasion. Radio society memberships include ARRL, QRP ARCI (6012), Fists (6825, cc1179), SKCC (3053), and the Adventure Radio Society (612). QSL info >>>---> If you need my QSL send an e-mail with your address and QSO info and I'll drop one in the mail. If you want to send a QSL card as a request that's great too. I maintain envelops only at the ARRL incoming bureau. Last modified: 2012-03-09 19:44:42, 1155 bytes cached
