Hello: For those who I have had QSO with you know I send my name as Jimm. To friends and family I use my middle name, so that's the name I sent you. The second "m" is not a misspelling, it goes back to 6th grade, another story for another day, haha. I've been a licensed Ham since 1992, when I earned my first call, KB5RWS, as a Tech No-Code. Not long after I started working on Morse Code and by 1998 I had come up through the ranks and earned my Amateur Extra. I enjoy Morse Code, when I have time, and HF in general as well as BPSK-31 and my new-found fun stuff, RTTY. I am also involved with a local repeater system, the Mega-Link here in New Mexico and do the maintance for some of the northern repeaters on that system. Along with my very best friend, my wife, who is licensed as a General, KD5JNV, other interests include riding our Goldwing all over the United States and Hot Air Ballooning, Albuquerque being the Hot Air Balloon Capitol of the world with the Internationa Balloon Fiesta here every year in October. Both of these hobbies have been neatly integrated with Ham Radio for us. Look forward to talking to you again soon 73 Jimm Last modified: 2011-12-10 16:30:40, 1252 bytes fetched
