Thanks for stopping by.

I am a New/Old ham.  I was originally licensed in Oregon, W7GAJ and remained active  from 1956 to 1963.  Then University, job and family duties took over.  In 2008 I obtained Extra class license K6GRJ.

I practiced as a lawyer and mediator for 40 years in the San Francisco Bay  Area and recently retired.  My QTH is about 45 miles SE of San Francisco, CA.  My xYL Sandy and I now live on rural  property with our three horses and two dogs.  [ I'm talking about antenna farming here  Smile .]

My hobbies in addition to Amateur Radio are showing my  concours 1998 Porsche Carrera S, road bike cycling and fishing.

My radios are:  Icom 756 Pro3, Tokyo Hi-Power 1.2Kfx Amp, Kenwood TS-50, Collins gear- KWM2A, 516F-PS and 30L-1 Amp. I also have some QRP equipment.

Antennas:  43 ft  DX Engineering vertical, K4KIO 4 band Hexbeam atop an MA-40 telescopic / tilt  tubular mast at 45 ft and an Array Solutions  K9AY terminated loop directional RX  array for 160/80/40 meters. Also have Quad Beam, and Cushcraft A3S  for future installation.

QSL  VIA  eQSL, DIRECT OR  BUREAU.  All QSLs reciprocated.

I think of QSL cards as  the stamps for our radio passports, confirming the places we have visited over the airwaves. Logging entries alone are not as official!

I am  active on Low, Mid and HF bands on CW.  Thinking about some form of digital, PSK, MFSK, etc??   Love to Hunt DX

Best DX and 73,  de K6GRJ Gary
