Got back on HF in 2006 after about a ten year layoff.

Moved to a location that let me get up a couple of antennas so I broke out my old R5 and IC-706 and got back on the air in early 2006.

I got hooked again and bought an Omni VI. That was followed by an Omni VII which I liked a lot and used up until I replaced it with a K3 that I assembled in December '09. (#3727). I am so happy with the K3 that I believe it will probably be my last radio!

Antenna is a 102' wire at about 40' fed with window line to a Balun outside the shack window which is matched nicely by the amazing tuner in the K3.
