First licensed in 1960 in Laurel, Maryland at the age of 14. Upgraded to General and the "N" was dropped from the call resulting in K3TIN which I held for about 43 years. After much moving around I have finally settled in Sahuarita, Arizona which is about 15 miles south of Tucson. Will probably stay here so I finally decided to end the constant /x after my call. Got the new call of K7LRB in June of 2004. My favorite all time mode is still CW although I do enjoy some of the digital modes, including AMTOR, PACTOR and many of the new soundcard modes. Also keep a 2M packet station on the air and still find a modest amount of packet activity in this area. Currently work at FlightSafety International at the Tucson airport and teach people how to fly the Learjet series of aircraft, mostly in full motion simulators. Can't imagine life without flying or ham radio! 73 and hope to see you on the air, de Larry Last modified: 2011-01-22 00:39:42, 975 bytes cached
