This is my 3 element 75/80 Meter yagi using  "High Q" coils to eliminate linear loading. The coils have a Q > 600 and are made on a precision coil form to keep the spacing optimized to acheive the high Q and repeatability between all coils in the system. The boom is 66 feet long (16.3 Meters ) and the elements are aproximately 95 feet ( 29 meters ) long. The antenna is on top of a U.S.Towers' 130 foot ( 40 meters ) self supporting free standing tower which handles this antenna very well. I want to thank Bruce and his team at U.S. Towers for designing this for me. It has been up for 4 years now and is trouble free. I use a prop-pitch motor as my rotator. The antenna is switchable, with the use of vacuum relays, between CW and SSB portions of the DX band. All this sits on a hilltop over looking the Rogue Valley here in Southern Oregon.

Best 73 and DX,

Rich - K7ZV
