Hi everyone that is looking at my profile. Thank you for looking me up. I started in ham radio in 1960 with my older brother George. He was my Elmer. George passed away 10-22-04. I owe my success to him. But at 12 years of age it was a lot easier. Equipment Does not matter. what matters is your hearing me! M-2 RC2800px ROTOR turning a Cushcraft X-7 Big Thunder Beam (that’s what Cushcraft calls it) 10, 15, 20, and add on 40 meters up 70 foot. Also a Cushcraft A3WS, 12 & 17 meter beam up 80 foot. And a Alpha Delta 160 – 40 meter inverted “V” and last but not forgotten a “J” pole for 2 meters up 60 foot. And a 2 meter Boomer at 75 Foot. Member of SKCC my number is 1579. I hope if you are reading this we have already worked, if not I hope we can have a QSO someday. Thank you Lord for the most understanding wife in the world. She lets me do anything radio related. I've been having fun. I have my new, old, HW-101, seen with an SB-600 speaker that contains an HP-23 power supply. Also visible is my Heath keyer which I assembled in 1983, and a Heath microphone
