The vanity callsign was chosen because it reflects both my organizational approach to using any flat surface as a horizontal filing system and a nostalgia for the 1960's TV show, 'Get Smart', a sitcom* about two opposing, Cold War, spy organizations: 'C.O.N.T.R.O.L' vs. 'K.A.O.S.'

*About TV comedies of that era. You may be familiar with the age-old question every American male eventually confronts at some time in their life and by so doing, reveals a fundamental aspect of their inner psyche: Who would you rather marry: Wilma Flintstone or Betty Rubble?, or perhaps the other classic comparison: Ginger, Mary Ann, or Mrs. Howell? But let's be real: The only legitimate answer is Agent 99**.
