Please feel free to sign my "web" log above. Thanks.First licensed in 1957 as a novice with the call KNØILV, and upgraded a year later as KØILV. I was quite active on cw and am until I graduated from high school in Perry, Iowa in1960. My activity decreased when I attended Iowa State University, where I earned a degree in Engineering Operations.I also have an FCC Commercial License, and worked in commercial broadcasting for a time in the 1960s in news and engineering.
I joined the family farming operation in Boone County near Ogden, IA in1967, and spent my entire working life in that business, and am now retired. My XYL is a United Methodist pastor, and serves churches in West Bend and Mallard, Iowa.
Let my amateur license lapse in 1968, and re-tested in 1980 and received the call NØBXH. I reclaimed KØILV under the vanity system, and took KBØL after upgrading to Extra.
Regularly check in on the CARF net, Iowa 75 meter net, and Eye bank net. Work several bands and modes. Hope to see you someplace on the bands.
