Hello to all! I have been involved with Ham Radio for a long time now. I feel that this is one of the best hobbies that anyone can have. How many people can turn on a radio and talk across the country or even around the world, meet others, and sometimes even become the best of friends. I know that since the day I started, I have met some of the nicest people. And most of them are my friends. I am proud to be a member of the NEW YORK CITY REPEATER ASSOCIATION.(KC2CIG) www.nycra.net We operate 3 repeater sites all located on STATEN ISLAND. The first repeater site located on the North shore. Freq. is 146.880, minus shift, and a (pl of 141.3). The second machine is located on the South shore. Freq. is 447.375, minus shift, and a ( pl of 141.3). Both machines are open to all. We have abackup machine in use, which operates on the East shore of the Island. 146.880 minus shift,(pl 156.7) If you are in the area and would like to have a qso, please feel free to jump in and say hello.
