I enjoy restoring and operating vintage tube type radios, especially St. James Gray Collins and Maroon EF Johnson.  I especially like working on the Collins 75A-4. I also enjoy the modern gear, to include Icom, Kenwood, Yaesu, Ameritron, Alpha, etc. 

I have a 440 repeater here in Eau Claire on 443.300 with tones of 110.9.  I have had it on the air since February of 1990.

I am also lucky to have an XYL (Sue - K9SUE) who is very supportive of our hobby.

I am enjoying my retirement from 34 years in the Cable Television industry.

In addition to my passion of Amateur Radio, I also enjoy working with test equipment, machine tools, John Deere garden tractors, gardening, photography and interesting vehicles.
