Above picture is of my MA-550 tubular crank up tower with Mosely Pro 57 beam and 40 meter dipole kit. Cushcraft 5 element 6 meter beam is perched atop the Pro 57. Master Tower Builder Jack Johansen, W0JEJ, is shown here adding final touches to the new tower in 2005 when the tower was put up. Major activity of my station is CW DXing and giving out the Colorado state contact for your CW log. Find me in the lower parts of the bands. Single-Op CW contesting is also high on my list, with 5 MN section first place titles in the ARRL CW DX Contest from 1990-1996. First Place Tenth Call District, High Power, 2005 CQWW WPX CW Contest, from W0TM's QTH near Vail, CO. Also placed 2nd, Tenth Call District, 2001 CQ WPX CW Low Power category, First Place, 10th Call District in the 2004 CQWW WPX CW Low Power category, and 2nd place in High Power, CQWW WPX 2006 in the 10th Call District. 2003 CQWW CW Contest -- Hawaii (KH6) First Place, Low Power, SOAB Home station includes: (1) Icom 756-Proiii, (2) Icom 706MkiiG, and Ten Tec Omni V). Amplifier: Ameritron 811H. HF Antenna: Mosely Pro 57 (with 40 meter dipole) at 60 feet on MA55 Crankup tower. 6M: Cushcraft 5 element yagi at 68 feet Low Band Antennas: (1) G5RV, (2) 135ft Multi bander, (3) 80m loop, (4) 160m inverted L.
