At the encouragement of my dad (KE4PT), I studied and received my amateur radio license (tech) at the ripe old age of 11. I have worked Emergency Operations Centers in South Florida (as part of the Southeast Florida Traffic Net and the Motorola Amateur Radio Club) through several natural diasters (aka - hurricanes). I'm not often on the air any more. I'm a perpetual student, currently having finished my bachelors from University of Miami and masters from Stanford University. I just began my doctoral studies in Sonic Arts at the Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. Super excited to be a "slash Zed El"!!

I am the intern mentioned here:http://www.fastcompany.com/3020884/innovation-agents/gms-innovation-hunter-is-a-fast-driver-looking-to-speed-up-car-development which is a project I completed after my masters at Stanford. Long live Morse Code!

Check out one of my early projects: http://www.qsl.net/pbpg/download/Mar98.PDF
