My Station Equipment Information My HF Transceiver: Yaesu FT-950Accessories: Yaesu DMU-2000 Data Management Unit, Yaesu Model MD-100 base Microphone, Matching Yaesu external extension speaker for FT-950 and Yaesu remote control keypad model FH-2 for FT-950, A GHD model GT706KIT straight key for CW ops. Plan to get a CW keyer paddle for the FT-950 built in keyer some time in the future. Digital interface for digital modes: Signalink USB (Integrated USB sound Card.) I use the Ham Radio Deluxe (HRD) Version 5 software for the digital modes such PSK-31 and RTTY as well as for Computer Aided Tuning (C.A.T.) for PC remote control of the Yaesu FT-950 HF rig. I also use the HRD logbook for electronic logging. Modes of operation: I mostly operate PSK-31 and some JT65 on 40 and 20 meters and some of the other higer bands and occasional CW or SSB. Antenna: Currently using a 40 meter inverted Vee dipole up 14 feet at the apex and fed through an MFJ- 918 1:1 balun at the center feed point.
Other Information I have been licansed as an amateur radio operator since September of 1967 when I was still a 16 year old high school student. Some of my previous call signs I have held have been WN7IOK, WA7IOK, WD6DLD and KA7DHU. I earned my Extra class license in 1980 and became KI7F. My QSL Information I use the eQSL service for exchanging QSL cards. I also can receive "paper" QSL cards via my Post Office Box in Spanish Fork, Utah that is listed above at the top of the page,but I would prefer eQSL if possible.
