The 20 meter inverted V dipole in Miami A Little Bit About MeThe approaching sunspot peak finally prompted me to get my ham radio license in 2011 (General Class). I have been listening to shortwave broadcast and utility transmissions for almost 20 years. Although I haven't built any of my current ham rig, I have built many receivers, amplifiers and digital clocks from kits with a particular focus on circuits that use vacuum tubes.
