Greetings, My name is Jeff. I have devoted the past ten years to the exploration and definition of solar terrestrial physics, and its relationship to vhf radio aurora. As of October 1999, we have logged over 150,000 miles, transmitting from over 136 grids in North America with special emphasis in northern VE, and KL7. My wife Kim is of great help, assembling the vhf yagis, magnetometer, six meter beacon system, and other equipment needed for my studies. We also have an extensive collection of color slides of visual aurora in all its stages. Aurora beacon now active on 50.065 from BP75 near Circle City, Alaska. Antenna is a horizontal loop omni with 100 watts and a keying speed of 13wpm. Usually qrv from 0000-0800utc nightly, with main objective of capturing the Harang Discontinuity, both visually, and on vhf. Thanks to all the friendly hams that have helped us in our travels. See you on aurora. 73, de KG0VL Jeff and Kim Last modified: 2011-11-11 21:58:05, 997 bytes cached
