After years of being an Scanner-user and doing some CB from my car, I decided to take a step up to becoming an HAM Radio Amateur. I passed the test on May 3rd 2005. We where 14 students on the license course, and 12 passed the test. I am a member of the "Gardermogruppen av NRRL", you can find their webpage on http://www.la2g.no/. As of now I have not been on HF with equipment I own. I for the most part I'm on 2m and 70cm and just bought a 4m radio (april 2012). I love when our group have radio assignment on sporting events and emergency assignments. I use APRS from time to. Some more about me: I live about 20 km north of capitol Oslo in Norway. In a small hillbillytown, Skedsmokorset. I live here with my girlfriend, son and daughter. After 20 years of working with computers and servers as a Systems Administrator I now work more and more in the planning end of IT infrastructures as a Delivery Manager for Norway biggest IT company, EVRY AS. I have passion for motorsports, especially Rallying. I run my own rally-page: http://www.nmst.no/. I use much of the weekends on rallys in Norway, both Championship rounds and CUPs. I also try to squeeze in a couple of rounds in the World Rally Championship every year, Sweden is an reoccurring tour every year. I have a lot of other hobbies and interests too:
