Hello, I’m OSVALDO , was born in Buenos Aires, ARGENTINA in 1950, and beginning a ham in 1979. My first license was LU8EYE, and after any years, in 1984, I went to live to MERLO, city, a beautiful touristy place in SAN LUIS, province in the central part of ARGENTINA, and changed my license for LU1QCK. In early 1989, I beginning to participate in contest, and after two years, in 1991, changed again my call sign for LU2QC, until present time. Eventually, I used a special call L2Q in any contest.

I built my antennas with my own design. I started with 8 el Yagi, 50 feet boom for 28mhz, after 5el. Yagi 40 feet boom for 21 mhz ; 2 el. Cubic for 18 mhz ;3 el. Yagi for18 mhz; 4 over 4 over 4,. Yagi for 21 mhz ; 2 el. Yagi for 7 mhz ; 3 el. Tribander for 14, 21, 28, mhz, ; many rotative dipoles for 7 mhz , linear loaded, with coils and full size; any delta loops for 7 mhz, 3.8 mhz and 1.8 mhz.

Now I’m living in a little farm, in N. E. corner of SAN LUIS, and I`ve two towers 100 and 50 feet high.

My equipments are two Kenwood TS 830 S, one of them it’s a present of my friend LU3EEC;

Yaesu FT 757 GX; Kenwood TR 9000 multimode VHF; Kenwood and Yaesu handies for VHF/ UHF; Mic Kenwood MC 85 and other home brewed special for DX and CONTEST. The station is powered by a COLLINS 30 S1 and home brewed linear amplifier too, with help in electronic construction of my friend LU2DVI/H.Many tanks for read my comments and come back for my CQ´s. 73´s
