My Name is Keith, Life Member of the ARRL I am originally from Northern Minnesota, But now I am a happy resident of Warrensburg MO. I first became a Ham Radio Operator in 1992 when I was stationed at Whiteman AFB just down the road.We werestationed at Misawa Air base in Northern Japan from May 95 till May 99 my J-Call was 7J7ACH. After returning to Missouri I became a single Dad. I am a Registered Nurse, Iwork at Truman Medical Center Lakewoodlocated in Kansas City, MO. After being a single dad for about six years I met Janis. After a year and a half of sparkingJanis and I were hitchedon 11OCT 2008. Now we are a family of five with my daughter Samantha and son Levi, step daughter Mirandah and of course the XYL Janis.Janis and I enjoypoking around the Kansas City areaand the lake of the Ozarks Some times we are in the Jeep hitting the trails or in the back hills enjoying the air in our hair. . The main rig is a Kenwood TS-830s sporting a D-104 Mic. I operate at 75 tp 100watts. The antenna system is an 80 foot crank-up tower topped off with a 5 band 2 element quad antenna. I really enjoy breaking up pile-ups with my 75 watts but I have Old Henry 2KW to back me up for the really rare DX. I really enjoy peaking out the antenna system so that I do not need Henry to help out. The VHF repeater system here is top notch. You can find me on 146.880 or 443.200 pl 107.2 when you come to the Warrensburg Missouri area. You can find me all over HF on the weekends. We are getting ready to set up a 220 repeater and a 6 meter repeater in the area, so standby for more to come. If you are looking for MO. for a work all states or something drop me an e-mail. I look for any reason to get on the air. Hope to talk to you on the air soon. Regards 73s Keith N0VJ AFA3KR (MARS) Last modified: 2011-03-05 17:05:00, 1940 bytes fetched
