My name is Steve. I am a DXer. I have been a licensed Amateur Radio operator since 1978. My previous callsign was WB2ZHB. My QTH is on Long Island, IOTA NA-026. I enjoy many aspects of Amateur Radio. I am a life member of INDEXA and 10-10 International. I am also a member of the ARRL, Long Island DX Association, and The 14.240 DX Group. I hold awards for DXCC (SSB, MIXED, 10m, 20m) and the CQDX Award. I have completed the required contacts for DXCC-CW, DXCC-RTTY, 9BDXCC, W.A.S., W.A.C. & W.A.Z. Awards. I hope to apply for those awards in the future when I have confirmed all the contacts.

DXing has given me the opportunity to make friends with DXers and their families from around the world. We must remember that every time we communicate with others we are acting as representatives of our country. This is a great opportunity to extend the hand of friendship and enhance international good will. We can all make an effortto achieve peace and understanding through communication. We are all one big family in Amateur Radio and as human beings.
