Hello Friends,

I started in Amateur radio in the early '60s by a friend with the Voice of America in Greenville. I work a lot of VHF,UHF and 220. I have a Ten-Tec Omni VII on HF and enjoying it very much. My wife of 40 years is also a ham. I moved to Greensboro, NC in 1992 with my wife who was relocated here.

I'm a veteran of 44 years in photojournalism, working for various newsapapers and a stringer for the Associated Press. Additionally I was also an ad design artist and commercial photographer. I'm presently a digital photo restoration artist digitally restoring old antique photos. I still shoot for the news media and for a few magazines on assignment. I shoot for myself mainly and produce fine arts prints for sale. Although digital is the "norm" these days. I also shoot film. I enjoy taking my camera gear to the coast of North Carolina for photo shoots. See my web site at www.forrestpics.com
