Critical care Paramedic and firefighter, married, proud father of two wonderful kids. In my spare time I enjoy playing guitar, building guitar amplifiers and effects pedals, running, listening to music, fishing, and obviously amateur radio. I'm a technology junkie and I love finding new ways to incorperate that into HAM radio. I enjoy chasing DX, and ragchewing in groups. The station is modest by todays standards. I run a Flex SDR-1000 with a bit of audio rack gear, and a modified Hustler vertical on 10, 12, 15, 17, 20, and 40 meters. I have recently also installed a very modest mobile setup for 10 meters. Made my first contact mobile on 4/28/12 to ZL2WL! Not bad! Have a wonderful day, and I hope to see you on the air!
