What We Are All About
The South Wake Amateur Radio Club or S.W.A.R.C was created in 2008. The purpose of S.W.A.R.C. is to promote interest in Amateur Radio and encourage the use of Amateur Radio for the public good. The Club provides educational opportunities for new hams and those wishing to upgrade their skills in amateur radio. We specialize in the training of new and upcoming hams for the purposes of emergency communications. We make ourselves available through a few different organizations to the community, the public, and/or government agencies in need of communications that are not readily available elsewhere. We would like to invite you to look around our website. SWARC Nets
Join us nightly at 7:30 p.m. on the K4ITL 147.195 repeater for our nightly Informal but Directed Ragchew Nets.
Traders Net
Join us every Tuesday night at 8:00pm on the 147.195 for the SWARC Trader's Net. Buy, Sell, Trade ham & computer equipment.
CW Net
Join us every Tuesday & Thursday at 9:00pm on 3.570 MHz (+/- QRM) for our CW Net. This will be a very informal, slow speed net.
