First licensed in 1977 as WD4LXM then KB4OMC, KI4VTL to the present with some periods of inactivity along the way. Thanks to help and encouragement from Greg, N4PLR (Elmer), considerable, guidance, support and help from Tom, KD4WOV, and an assist from Mike, KG4VYX. I got back to amateur radio in 2007. The station is an IC-756PROIII, FT-767GX, or FT-101ZD, into a Tru-Talk G5RV, or a 35 year old Shakespeare vertical. The portable station is an FT857D or IC706MKIIG using a BuddiStick tuning 40m through 10m. I use a second FT857D for mobile HF/VHF/UHF. I recenty added an Icom ID800H and enjoy an occasional D-Star contact. Modest operations by any standard, thank you for listening closely. Current projects include: 1) Erect the tower, KT-34A Tri Band, Cushcraft 2M beam, and some wire for the lower bands. Everything is on the ground waiting on permit approval. 2) Convert my paper logs to digital and upload all to LoTW. Hope to complete this by the end of 2012. I retired from Trans World Airlines several years ago and more recently retired from The Boeing Company and United Launch Alliance - Delta program. The picture above is of a Delta II mission launched in October 2007. I was able to take the picture a few hours prior to launch. QSL via LoTW, eQSL, QRZ logbook, or direct. Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you on the air again soon. 73 NT4K JC Member: ARRL, Lake Monroe Amateur Radio Society, QCWA, 10-10 International, W5YI and ARRL V.E Join and support your local amateur radio organizations.
