NP2KW / P ,. Portable Operations: This is the NP2KW / P mobile pop-up camper. I enjoy camping with my family every Easter (2+ weeks) and sometimes on long weekends. It is fully equipped with (3) Solarex 250W Solar Panels, Specialty Concepts Solar Charger/Controller, 1000AH Deep Cycle Battery Sysytem, Direct TV Satellite Dish w/ 2 receivers for (2) 8 inch LCD Monitors, 35lb. per day portable mini ice maker, 1800W DC - AC Power Inverter ( for the coffee pot or small microwave and laptop/cell charging ), Alpine am/fm/cd/dvd 6 speaker car audio system, 300gal. 12v Trailered Watertank, and not long ago also housed the FT847 and a Cushcraft R8 or a Hustler 6BTV, but the remote station now solves that extra gear handling and battery power drain, so it was replaced with a Long Range WI-FI Receive Antenna/Booster and a Wireless Access Point system to intercept the free wi-fi signal at the Marina across the water, or via my Smartphone (as a wi-fi radio), that allows for internet access for me to log in to my Remote HF / VHF station at home and talk away on the pile-ups as if I was sitting in front of the station itself. Life just doesn't get any better than this people, and it's better than any doctor's cure,hi hi!!
and when there's no propagation, we go offshore!!
