Contest is a part of my Ham activity on HF Radio

I love it whatsoever.

During Activity contest with my previous call_sign OD5NJ I thought it would be nice working some other contests under a special call sign for example the WPX the IARU, CQWW etc.

This year 2009with WPX SSB contest I have faced a lot of problems and difficulties from the weather Lat 33°53'41.86"N Log 35°46'54.50"E

On the Road up to my 2nd QTH and my summer house

OD5MV and OD5ET, OD5RW joined me in the mountain and they saw how hard was the situation, cold , snow , and fog waww I have waited until the next day to continue the contest myself but with joy and patient I made few hundreds QSOs, hopefully next year we'll be able to run it safetly and easy.

4x4 cars are recommended to join me, OD5RW with his Land-Rover Defender was able to cross 1 feet of snow easily

Contest operators in OD5 land are very few and maybe not more than4 operators.

We will try to get Special call-signs for IARU and CQWW in the next coming contests.

Oct 2009 CQWW I had to run the contest myself (OD5NJ) Single Op. Low Power since Only FT-747GX available for me now.
