Update on 04.08.2011: Our lighthouse activation ARLHS FIN-135 got WLOTA status(On 02.08.11), tnx to DE0MST. Kaunissaari lighthouse was activated for the first time ever by OH1K. OH1K/P ARLHS FIN-135 / WLOTA 3158 will be confirmed with special QSL. Tnx for the qso`s and I will be very happy to confirm Kaunissaari Lighthouse Qsos. QSL via Bureau/Direct. All SWL reports are most wellcome (Bureau/dir/e-qsl).

Update on 04.08.2011: I will stay here in Kaunissaari for few extra days and will leave the island maybe on Sunday (7.8.11)

Update on 05.08.11: Aurora here since two hours (21.00 gmt), bands are closed. Hopefully tomorrow on the 6th of August 20mb will be open.

Update on 07.08.11: OH1K qrt at 0942. Last qso was SM4LRA on 20mb SSB. Back home now and few directs waiting here. 2485 qsos logged this time. 71 DXCC countries worked. High Aurora level most of the time and propagation was not nearly as good as last year. Tnx to all. Will see you next year too. SWL reports are most welcome. Update on 09.08.11: E-qsls uploaded with "AG" status including OH1K/P LH FIN-135/WLOTA 3158. I will be qrv in EU-173 as OH1K maybe on Wednesday 10.08.11.

Update on 10.08.11: I was Qrv in Reposaari EU-173 between 1310-1559 gmt. I used mobile ant (Pro-Am) over the sea with five radials and it wkd quite well. HS0ZIV logged with 58 report. 168 qsos in the log.

New update on 11.07.2011: All 2010 Kaunissaari EU-140 Qsos have been confirmed via Bureau!!!

OH1K was active in the 2010 CQWW SSB contest. Qth mainland Finland, Not on EU-140. Qsl cards are ok via my OH1JO call. Wkd in SOABLP category. Final score: 481236 points, approximately #73 in the world and #36 in Europe.

OH1K call is used every now and then from my home qth (KP11CH) and from EU-173 (KP01RO) EU-140 Kaunissaari island (KP30JI) will be active this summer with OH1K call

Kaunissaari island (Beautiful island) was active on 23.07-28.07.2010 by OH1JO and OH1LEG.
